James M. Baldwin, beloved husband of Ottielenna (Tolliver) for 56 years, passed peacefully at the age of 83 on Dec. 23rd surrounded by his loving family. James was born Aug. 1st, 1930 in Oil Springs, KY, son of Harvey and Anna (Reed) Baldwin and brother to Margie Baldwin (deceased). He was a devoted father to son, Jimmy Baldwin (wife Tammy) of Fayetteville, OH and daughter, Rhonda (Baldwin) Strouse (husband Greg) of Lexington, KY. James was a caring grandfather of four grandsons, Tyler Baldwin, Nicholas Baldwin, Seth Baldwin, and Jordan Strouse. James will be remembered as a loving uncle, cousin, and friend. He positively impacted many lives as a dedicated teacher in KY and OH and was proud to be a veteran of the US Army. Memorials can be made to the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Goshen, OH on Dec., 27th, 5-8 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home on Dec., 28th at 10 AM with burial following at Edwardsville Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Waters of Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church will be the minister for the services. Pallbearers for James are: Tyler Baldwin, Nicholas Baldwin, Seth Baldwin, Jordan Strouse, Greg Strouse and Jimmy Baldwin.
