James Franklin Lee "Jimmy" of Winchester, OH, formerly of Blanchester, OH was born January 27, 1948 to Betty Lucille (nee Garrison) York and Lewis Burdette "Bud" Lee and passed away January 13, 2018 at the age of 69. Jimmy was a Buck Sgt. and a B-52 Aircraft Electrician in the US Air Force from 1966-1970. He retired from General Electric after 21 years as a Building Maintenance Electrician. He previously worked at Cincinnati Milacron and the local railroad. He was an avid softball player, history and family enthusiast, farmer, carpenter, mechanic, jack-of-all-trades and a collector of coins and guns. He was a member of the NRA and attended the Winchester United Methodist Church. He is survived by his fiance, Karen Conley; children, Jared (Tina) Lee, Josh (Monica) Lee, Sarah (Andy) Jacobs; mother of his children, Brenda (Lee) Barr; grandchildren, Jameson Lee, Logan Lee, Parker Lee, Carter Lee, Madyson Lee, Luke Jacobs, Reagan Jacobs; step-grandchildren, Collin Blevins, Conner Applegate and Tyler Belt; half brother, Paul York; half sisters, Rose York, Debbie (York) Broay and Sherry Lovette. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM on Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 2 PM until time of service. In lieu, memorial contributions may be directed to the National Veterans Foundation (NVF) www.nfv.org
