Devoted husband of 53 years to Evelyn (nee Berger) Horstmeyer, loving father of Steve (Annie Jansen) Horstmeyer, Cindy (Bill) Fout, Mary Jo (Don) Shrout, and Gale (Mike) Smith, proud grandpa of Seth Horstmeyer, Katie Shrout, Jessica Schneider, Ryan Shrout, Lance Fawley, and Heather Smith, dear brother of D. Horstmeyer, cherished son the of late Elmer and Jessie (nee Monning) Horstmeyer. Jim retired from Cincinnati Milacron after 25 years of service, and his life long loves were photography, woodworking, camping, and boating. He believed in treating others like he wanted to be treated. Jim served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
