James "Jim" Meadows was born August 19, 1929 to Thomas and Hattie (nee Lowe) Meadows and passed away March 22, 2014 at the age of 84. He retired from the Blanchester Water Treatment Plant and enjoyed bowling and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nora (nee Hinkle) Meadows; children, James A. (Janet) Meadows and Jerry W. Meadows; grandchildren, Kasey (Sam) Bellamy, Chris (Amber) Meadows, Joshua Meadows and Jordan Meadows; great grandchildren, Madison, Javen, Zoee, Dalson, Jewel and Hannah; sister, Thelma Meadows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Craig Meadows and a great granddaughter Rayne. Friends will be received from 12-1 PM on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107.
