James "Jim" Hamlin Jr. of Pleasant Plain, OH. Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2020 at the age of 80. Born on March 17, 1940 in Georgetown, KY. Beloved husband of 58 years to Carol Jean (nee Maynard) Hamlin. Loving father of Jim Hamlin Jr. and Tracy (Steve) Buckner. Proud Papaw of Josh Buckner and Austin Buckner. Dear brother of the late Bobby, Bill and Roy Willoughby, Betty Young and Maxine. Cherished son of the late James and Mary Ada (nee Gaddis) Hamlin. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 25 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 11 AM.
