James Edward Haynie of Blanchester, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2021 at the age of 81. Born on May 7, 1940 in Martinsville, OH. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Esther (nee Hakes) Haynie. Loving father of Shelaine (Roy) Beasley, Kalaine (Russell) Weatherly and James Michael Haynie. Caring grandfather of Alexander, Z. Kyle, Brandon, James, Brittany, Clayton, Brian, Vicki, Steven, Jessica, Jaime and the late Jeffrey. Proud great-grandfather of Gabriel, Elizabeth, Blakely, Skylar, Walter, Ethan, Everett, Clayton Jameson, Carter, Adeline and Emilie. Dear brother of Lois (Ed) Bratton, Bill Haynie, Donna (Loren) Haines, Carolyn Harris, Esther Haynie, Martha Millikin, Joyce Foster and the late Mary Ann Kennedy, Karen Haynie and Harold Haynie. Cherished son of the late Edward Meredith and Clara Catherine (nee Walker) Haynie. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family where face mask are required. Interment, Edwardsville Cemetery A Celebration of Life will take place from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM with mask required on Saturday, October 2 at Morrow Church of Christ, aka Little Miami Christian Church, 6140 Ludlum Rd., Morrow, OH 45152.
