James E. Clifton of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio, at the age of 65. Jimmy was born on January 31, 1961, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to the late Richard Lee and Beverly Kay (née Storts) Clifton.

Jim was the loving father of Taylor Clifton; brother of Sonya Clifton, Tonya Leasher, and the late Robert Lee Clifton; and uncle of Joshua Clifton, Chris Leasher, and Amy Watts. He was also the great-uncle of Bob Coyle and Maddy Barnes, and the great-great-uncle of Oliver Barnes.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of James. E. Clifton to Momentous Health at Franklin Activities Department, 421 Mission Ln., Franklin, OH, 45005.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main Street, Blanchester, Ohio, where funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Gilboa Cemetery in Paint Township.
