Rev. James L. Chester, 49, died at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 27, 2017. He served as a Pastor for churches in Kansas, Minnesota, and Ohio. He also served as a missionary in the Philippines with his family. He volunteered as the Fort Hamilton District Chaplain of Boy Scouts of America. He most recently worked as a Chaplain for Crossroads Hospice of Cincinnati. Jim loved preaching the Word of God. His faith and family were of utmost importance. He was an Eagle Scout who loved nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing, leatherworking, and woodworking.
The memorial service will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 Riverside Avenue Loveland, Ohio 45140. If you would like to visit with the family, please join us from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday July 8, 2017. The memorial service will be held at 12:00pm immediately following.

He is survived by his wife, Sonja, two sons, Nathaniel and Gabriel, mother, Barbara, and brother, John (Kelly). He is preceded in death by his father, Saxby Chester.
