James Robert "Bob" Chain Jr. of Goshen, OH. Born on January 1, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA. Went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2021 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Beverly Ann (nee Sappington) Chain. Loving step-father of Tom Hanson. Dear brother of Don (Susan) Chain, Ruth (Ron) Rieger and the late Susan Grambsch. Cherished son of the late James Robert and Clara Norsetta (nee Cunningham) Chain. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends and fellow musicians. Bob loved music and played in many bands throughout his life. He often played his bass guitar for church services at Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church, where he was also an Elder. Bob was known for his quick wit and lively sense of humor which kept everyone around him laughing. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
