James "Jay" Joseph Burns IV of Goshen, OH. Passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 70. Born on September 17, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH.

Beloved husband of Valli (nee Comisar) Burns. Loving father of Heather Burns, Katrina Burns and James (Michele) Joseph Burns V. Proud grandfather of Anna Kalton, Jada (Austin) Taylor, Jacoby Collins, Lena and Ella Burns. Dear brother of Jerilynne (Connie Kreiner) Burns, Julie (Jim) Smith, Jeff (Robin)Burns, Jody Burns and the late Joy Burns. Cherished son of the late James Joseph III and Mildred Francis (nee Sist) Burns.

Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 1 PM to  2 PM on Thursday, August 17 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, where a Memorial service will take place at 2 PM on Thursday.
