Beloved husband of Carrie Jean (nee McCoy) Smith, loving father of Sherry (Bob) Morrison, Sharon (Neil) Countryman, Randy (Kim) Smith, Lisa (Don) Mays, Kim (Chris) Ray and Sandra Lear, caring grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, dear brother of Jesse Smith, Charles Smith, Richard Smith, Jenny Morgan, JoAnn Womun and Diane Rayburn. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. J.B. served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
