Loving grandfather of Celeste Sheridan, Denise Dimou, Mike Robinson, Tim Robinson and Kathy Trent. Caring great-grandfather of Adam Doty, Ian Doty, Daniel Robinson, Brooke Robinson and Morgan Trent. Proud brother of the late Margie Hines, Delsie Hardison, Audra Stotts, Ruby Nobles and Maxine Allen. Cherished son of the late George Dallas and Stella (nee Curry) Furkin. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. James Furkin served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Rev. Robert Lovell of the First United Methodist Church of Milford will be officiating services.
