James Bauer, 83, of Mason, Ohio passed away April 4, 2013 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. He was born September 17, 1929 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Paul Bauer and the late Romilda (nee: Connaughton) Bauer. James retired from the Ford Motor Company as skilled tradesman at the Batavia, OH plant. He was a member of the St. Columban Catholic Church Parish in Loveland, OH. Surviving are sons Edgar Bauer, Robert (Denice) Bauer, Richard (Joyce) Bauer and John (Dianna) Bauer. Also surviving are daughters Nancy (Robert) Noftsger and Mary Bauer. Other surviving family members include six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan (nee: Gardner) Bauer, brother William Bauer and sister Ann Louise Schneider. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 11, 2013 from 9:30AM to 11AM with the funeral service starting at 11AM at the St. Columban Catholic Church, Loveland, OH.
