James Russell Arnold of Pleasant Plain, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2021 at the age of 74. Born on August 13, 1946 in Vevay, IN. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Angelyn Edna (nee Lovaas) Arnold; daughter, Amy Lynne (Barry) Denham; son, Jamie Phillip (Darla) Arnold; five grandchildren, Austin J. Arnold, Dallas L. Denham, Chase L. Denham, Andrew P. Arnold and Jennalyn G. Arnold; two sisters, Joyce Hutchinson and Karen Gray; also survived by numerous aunts, one uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and many dear friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James P. Jr. and Vera Louise (nee Sides) Arnold; brother, Gene Arnold. Jim proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Thursday, June 3 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment, Goshen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Bible Baptist Church, 55 Megan Dr., Wilmington, OH 45177, or to the Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue, 8454 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45255 Pastor Josh Dixon will be the minister for Jim's services.
