Obituary

Moore James (Jim) Albert Moore, 60, passed away on Friday June 26, 2009. He finally lost the battle to diabetes and heart disease. He was born on October 28, 1948. Jim grew up in Middletown with his mother (Jackie) and father (Albert) Moore whom are both deceased. He graduated from Madison High School in 1966. Soon after in 1968 Jim enlisted with the Marines. He served his country on several tours to Vietnam from 1967 - 1971. He was awarded three purple hearts for his duties. He then went on to U.C. where he earned a degree in psychology. He used this knowledge to talk to other veterans and people from AA. He worked as a promise keeper and was a member of the VFW American Legion. Jim loved going to church where he and Sue worshipped and praised Jesus Christ. Jim will be survived by his soul mate and the light of his life, his loving wife Sue. Also, by his children Sarah McIntyre and Joshua Moore, brother Denny (Cathy) Moore, and his sisters Brenda (Gregg) Houser and Patty (Dave) Frisch. Jim lived his life to the fullest and was known to be a gentle teddy bear to those he loved and respected. Visitation will be Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland, Ohio 45140 from 6 to 8 pm. Where services will be held Thursday July 2, 2009 at 1:00pm. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens. Family request that memorial contributions in memory of Jim be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
