Jacquelyn "Jackie" Simpson, 90, of Blanchester, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2021. She was the beloved mother of Lisa Simpson (Rick Fravel) and Scott (Jeanette) Simpson; loving grandmother of Tabatha (Doug) McCracken, Kari (Jonathon Hike) Simpson, Charles (Kimmie) Sweat, Kevin (Shelby) Simpson, Alicia Fravel, and the late Jenna Kay Simpson; proud great-grandmother of Bristol, Dalton, and Dawson McCracken, Roselynn Simpson, and Oliver Sweat; dear sister of Cheri (John) Cleaver; she leaves behind many loved ones. Jackie retired from the Blanchester School System after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the Monday morning prayer group. Jackie was involved in several clubs including, the Amicitia Club, the Blanchester Historical Society, served as a past Blanchester Girl Scout Leader and past treasurer for the SERS. She loved the Lord, reading, and spending time with her family. Jackie was preceded in death by husband, Walter L. Simpson; parents, Fred and Edith Mae West, stepmom, Mildred West. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 6-8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church, 201 E. Center St. Blanchester, OH 45107.
