Jackie Reed Prather of Aberdeen, OH, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 12, 2025, at the age of 73. Jack was born on March 23, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH to Nathan and Bertha Prather.

He was the beloved husband of the late Debra Lynn (nee Burns) Prather, loving father of Tammy Swope, Rachael O'Neal, Jared Prather and the late Jenny Prather, caring Pap of David Swope, Dylan (Aubrey), Breeana, Roger, Jacqueline and Trenton Meade and Jaxon Prather and the late Emilee Prather, proud great-grandfather of Wyatt and Nova Meade, Kasen Summerfield and Juniper Swope, dear brother of Terri Carswell and the late Danny Prather, Bob Prather, Debbie Prather, Sylvia Prather and Arlene Merritt, cherished son of the late Nathan and Bertha (nee Owens) Prather. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Wednesday, August 20 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Pastor Phil Hopper officiating.
