LOVELAND – Jack L. Horner, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 10,2021 in Cincinnati,Ohio. He was born March 4, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Louis and Helen Horner. Survived by his loving wife, of 57 years, Barbara (nee Rotsching) Horner, Children, Jill (Darren) Greene, Jack J. Horner and Jeffrey L. Horner, Grandchildren, Ashley(Ryan) Woods, Stephen(Jen)Horner, Eric(Fernanda)Horner, Austin(Hannah) Greene, Jonathan(Holly)Horner, Alec(Jenny)Greene, Katlyn(Dominic) Horner, Haley(Nick)Horner, Bridget Horner, Michael Horner, Jeffrey Horner and Brendan Horner, Great Grandchildren, Emma Woods, Niomi Mukasa, Isla Horner, Ezekiel Mukasa and Evan Woods, Brothers, Terry (Jill)Horner, the late Tom(Sue)Horner and Mark(Laura)Horner. Jack went to elementary school at St. Vincent Ferrer in Kenwood, Purcell High School, 1961, attended University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. Through his love of Purcell he would become an active member of the Cavalier Alumni Association and was given the "Praestans Inter Omnes" (Outstanding Among All) award in 1996. Member of O'Bannon Creek Golf Club and Sea Pines Country Club on Hilton Head Island. He was member of Cincinnati Rotary Club and was named a "Paul Harris Fellow" by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. In 1974 he began ADSCO,A-One Dealer Supply,a very successful company in the sale of automobile dealer supplies and promotional products. He loved music, attended the Cincinnati "Pops" concerts for over 25 years. He loved sports, season ticket holder for Bengals for 38 years. He loved Hilton Head Island which would become his home away from home but most of all he loved his family! Visitation will be 5 – 8pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer, 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland, Ohio 45140, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Rd, Loveland, Oh on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family request that contributions be directed to Purcell Marian High School in memory of Jack Horner, 2935 Hackberry Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
