Jack Ted Hammer, born February 20, 1923 in Midland, OH and passed away July 6, 2012 in Mason, OH. He was the son of the late Louis McKay Hammer and Gladdis (nee Case) Hammer. Loving husband of the late Ruth (nee Hutt) Hammer. Dear father of the late Michael G. Hammer-Forbes, and Stephanie Forbes of Oakland, CA. Father-in-law of Carol Forbes. Proud grandfather of Jason T. Forbes, Robyn M. Reedy, Sophia Forbes and Ryan Light, and great grandfather of Carter Forbes, Julia Forbes, Ezra Jack Forbes, Ethan Reedy, Austin Reedy and Piper Light. Beloved brother of the late L. Meridith "Zip" Hammer, Wilbur Hammer and Donna Snyder. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday July 11, 2012 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W.
