Jack Wayne Cordes of Edenton, OH went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2024. Jack was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 7, 1942, to the late Homer Sr. and Charity Belle (nee Proctor) Cordes.

Cherished father of Diana (Mike) Eubank, Laura Mueller, Kristy (Bill Strange) Hollingsworth, and the late Carrie Price and Brenda Cordes. Loving grandfather of Ian Shaw, Kacy (Dan) Moss, Kelli Shaw, Chandler Eubank, Courtney (Curtis) Newman, Taylor Eubank, Kaitlyn Hollingsworth, Jenna Pelosi, and Jayden Pelosi. Proud great grandfather of Mitchell Spurling, Quinton Voss, Natalie Spurling, and Harper Newman. Brother of Robert "Bill" (Judy) Cordes and the late Homer (Judy) Cordes Jr. and Selma (Ken) Henson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Jack proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2pm on Thursday, February 29 at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
