Ivy Scarberry Schnell was born November 8, 1930 to Ira Scarberry and Minnie (nee Pugh) Norton and passed away peacefully at her home, November 3, 2017 at the age of 86. She enjoyed fellowship with the Tuesday Morning Gathering, M-Squad and UFCW Kroger Retirees. She was the dear mother of Mark Schnell and Cindy Schnell; proud grandmother of Andrew, Steven Jr. and Rachel (nee Schnell) Medley; loving great grandmother of Presley Jayne, Vincent, Emerson, Camilla, Autum and Colten; beloved sister of Kermit and Irla Scarberry; and step-brother, Tom Norton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father John W. "Pop" Norton; her husband of 48 years Don Schnell; brother, Don Ivan; step-siblings, Don, Jim, Bill Norton and Dorothy (nee Norton) Hargett. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Tuesday November 7, 2017 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, where services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM.
