Irma Louise (nee Peters) Jackson of Milford, OH. Born on July 9, 1934 in Blake, KY, Owsley County. Went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Earl R. Jackson. Loving mother of Linda (Rick) Slone, Vicki Harkins and the late Jennifer Jackson. Caring grandmother of Glenn Harkins, Scott Slone, Tracy Fuller, Kyle Slone, Sean Harkins, David Slone, Daniel Slone, Joshua Christian and the late Donald and Carrie Harkins. Proud great-grandmother of 20 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of the late Daniel Peters Jr., Rena Evans, Ray Peters, Henry Peters, Bennie Peters and Lynden Peters. Cherished daughter of the late Daniel and Mollie (nee Becknell) Peters. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Irma was a beloved Pastor's wife for over 60 years, most being at Calvary Baptist Church in Milford. Friends will be received from 10 AM - 11 AM on Thursday, December 31 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 11 AM. Interment, Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Union Township, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Irma Jackson to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1123 St. Rt. 28, Milford, OH 45150. Pastor Scott Slone and Pastor David Slone, Irma's grandson's, will be the ministers for Irma's services.
