Irene Faye (nee Williamson) Sturgill of Goshen, OH., went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2025, at the age of 85. Irene was born on January 23, 1940, in Cincinnati, OH to Herbert and Sarah Williamson.

Irene was a Goshen Local School District Bus Driver "Bus 14" for many years. She adored and loved her grandkids and great-grandkids, and her greatest joy was spending time with family.

Irene is the beloved wife of 67 years to Harold D. Sturgill, loving mother of Harold (Zoe) Sturgill of Pleasant Plain, OH., Sandra (Paul) Goldick of Goshen, OH., and Jeff (Sandy) Sturgill of Goshen, OH., caring Mamaw of Brandon (Traci) Sturgill, Timmy Plavsic, Chris Sturgill, Tiffany (Kyle) McCracken and the late Julie Sturgill and Joshua Plavsic, proud great-Mamaw of Maddie Sturgill, Rylee Spears, Bretley Sturgill, Eric Eifert, Gracie Plavsic, Leilah Sturgill, Isabella Sturgill, Kiarra McCracken, Killian McCracken and the late Gavin Sturgill, dear sister of the late James, Harold and Billy Williamson, cherished daughter of the late Herbert and Sarah (nee Walker) Williamson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 19 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Wednesday. Pastor Todd Kritzwiser officiating.

Interment will take place at Myers Cemetery, Goshen TWP, OH.
