Irene C. Hart, 95, of Blanchester, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Mrs. Hart was born September 23, 1920, in Lockland, OH, daughter of the late Thomas and Lora Caldwell. She kept the home fires burning during WWII and retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital in 1981. She was also an avid quilter and enjoyed harness racing with her husband and friends. She is survived by seven children, Joe (Rita) Hart, Patty (Tim) Tripp, Anita Cash, Jim (Betsy) Hart, Terry (Nadia) Hart, Jerry (Susan) Hart, Dennis (Carrie) Hart and the late Nick Hart; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Franklin Caldwell, Evelyn Soitier and Tom Caldwell; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at The St. Martin Chapel, 20864 St. Rt. 251 N., St. Martin, Ohio 45118. Friends will be received from 9 am until time of service at St. Martin Chapel Hall. Interment will take place at St. Martin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Autism Speaks at 557 N.
