Iona Marie (nee Smith) Janson of Loveland, OH. Born on July 10, 1937 in Williamsburg, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2020 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Alvin H. Janson Jr. and the late Victor Norris. Loving mother of Lana Marie (Mick) Vandt and the late Herbert L. Roehm. Caring grandmother of Crystal Roehm Adam Roehm, Jennifer Caudill, Ethan Lloyd and Owen Lloyd. Dear sister of Joy Raper, Dora Lee Riley, Donna Meyer, Mary Y. Burton and Connie Wagner. Cherished daughter of the late Lionel and Doris (nee Beckelheimer) Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Iona truly enjoyed NASCAR, especially rooting for her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. Friends will be received on Friday, July 17, 10 AM - 11:30 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. All in attendance will be required to wear a mask in compliance with the Clermont County Health Department guidelines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 17, 12 Noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 5900 Buckwheat Rd., Milford. Interment, Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Iona Janson to the charity of one's choice. Pallbearers for Iona are: Phil Janson, Erin Norris, Cody Collier, Eric Collier, Robert Gibson and John Varney. Fr. Adam Puntel will be the presiding priest for Iona's Mass of Christian Burial
