Howard William Vollmer, Sr. of Cincinnati. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Hughes) Vollmer of 59 years. Loving father of Howard William (Tammy) Vollmer, Jr. and Thomas Albert (Patricia) Vollmer. Cherished Pop-Pop of Matthew Thomas Albert Vollmer and Abigail Irene Lou Vollmer. Devoted son of the late Albert and Mabel Vollmer. Dear brother of the late Bernard Vollmer, Myrtle Vollmer Schwab, Clyde Vollmer, Jewell Vollmer, and Melva Vollmer. Howard went to be with his Lord on February 19, 2021 at the age of 86. A University of Cincinnati Bearcat graduate, Howard became an engineer for General Electric where he retired. He served in the National Guard and as a treasurer and deacon in his church. Howard enjoyed coaching his sons in Little League Baseball as well as attending all their events. He was interested in travel, carpentry, sports, german food and being with his family!
