Howard R. Adae, Sr. of Midland. Beloved husband for over 61 years of Alice H. Grisham Adae, dear father of Jean (Leon) Cole, Howard "Rau" (Cynthia) Adae, Bill (Cricket) Adae, David (Jennie) Adae, Ben (Bonnie) Adae Mary (Tony) Clinton, and loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Howard started the A and M Farm Orchard in Midland, Ohio, in 1946 and built it into a very successful business. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Highland County Water Board for 24 years, the Clinton County Farm Bureau, Ohio Fruit Growers Society, Farm Markets of Ohio Board, Roadside Marketing Conference, Jefferson Alumni Assoc., Treasurer for 18 years, active in the Westboro United Methodist Church, including renovations and teaching Sunday School, and a member of the Grand Loidge # 0052 of the Free and Accepted Masons of Wilmington, Ohio. Howard died on Dec. 1, 2010 at age 85. A memorial service will be held on Sat. Dec. 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM. at the Westboro United Methodist Church on Jonesboro Rd. in Westboro.
