Howard Furlong passed away peacefully on Monday August 7, 2017. A native of Chicago, IL he came to Cincinnati 4 years ago from Spring Hill, FL to be close to his family after the death of his wife, Alice and sister, Patricia. He served honorably in the Navy on the USS Marcus Island during WWII as a tail gunner on a Grumman TBF Avenger. He is survived by his brother Robert; daughter, Susan; son, Joe; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Mark and Scott and great grandchildren; Dillon, Cameron, Oliva and Mason. Graveside service will be held at a location and date to be determined. The family would like to ask that no flowers be sent, but instead a donation to Tri-State Honor Flight would be appreciated.
