Hope L. (nee Joseph) Balint of Morrow. Beloved wife of the late John Balint. Loving mother of Karen E. (Mike Ballard) McNamara, Stephen J. (Cindie) Balint, and the late Joseph J. Balint. Dear mother-in-law of Denise Balint. Cherished grandmother of Kelsey Gallagher, Connor McNamara, Stephanie Balint, and Joseph Balint. Great grandmother of Owen and James. Dear sister of the late Douglas Joseph, Paul Joseph, and Dorothy Joseph. Passed away November 24, 2023, at the age of 96.

Hope was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII working in a factory in Springfield. She then went on to law school and was a 1953 Graduate of The Ohio State University Law School where she was the only female graduate in a class of 100 men. She retired as an attorney who assisted relatives and friends late in life on legal matters. Hope sacrificed her corporate climb to take summers off to raise her children. Always known for her smile, laughter and optimism, Hope will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 1 from 11 AM to 12 PM  at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 944 E. US Hwy 22&3, Morrow, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM . Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Hope had requested consideration of donations to Cloverleaf Equine Center ,  (formerly the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program), 6429 Clifton Road, Clifton, VA 20124.  Cloverleaf ia a non profit organization that Hope briefly volunteered at. Cloverleaf serves veterans with PTSD, at risk youth, and children with physical disabilities.  Her beloved granddaughter, Kelsey, is it's current Executive Director.
