Hilda Ann (nee Howard) Ryan, age 90, passed away January 28, 2019 at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant in Monroe. Beloved wife of 67 years to Robert Richard Ryan. Loving mother of Kevin (the late Mary Ellen) Ryan, Timothy (Sue) Ryan, Connie (Tim) Dall and Molly (Chris) Cain. Cherished grandmother of Colleen (Josh) Bell, Bridget (Chris) Aubin, Sean (Lizz) Ryan, Nathan (Angie) Dall, Natalie Dall, Collin Cain and Emma Cain. Great Grandmother of Audrey Aubin. Sister of the late Mary Alice Dolan and Thomas Howard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Hilda was an active member and past president of the Centerville Historical Society, the Centerville Civic Womens Club and the League of Women Voters. She also was a long-time member of the Heisey Collectors of America. For over 30 years, she volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, in addition to the Centerville City Managers Office and Incarnation Parish. Hilda lived a life full of love that touched everyone that had the privilege to know her. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 4 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon St., Monroe, OH 45050, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of Mass. Private inurnment Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hildas memory may be made to the Robert R. Ryan Foundation at Carillon Park in Dayton, Ohio, Hospice of Dayton, the Ohio Living Foundation at Mount Pleasant or to a charity of your choice.
