Herman Gilbert Royer, Jr., of Milford, Ohio, passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of Pearl Royer; loving father of David Royer and Gary Royer; stepfather of Diana Irwin, Debra (Ray) Bicker, and Terry (Robert) Irwin; proud grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of nine; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Edna (nee Kratzer) Royer, Sr.; siblings, Anita Kain, Charles Royer, and Herman Royer. He was a longtime member of the Milford Masonic Lodge No.54, Scottish Rite of Cincinnati, and the Milford American Legion-Post 450. Herman retired in 1990 from the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio after 30 plus years as a supervisor. A funeral service with Military and Masonic honors will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home 1668, St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio.
