Herbert Spangler, 67, of Midland, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016 surrounded by family. Born on June 19, 1949 in Mariemont, OH, son of the late Clifford and Mary (nee Oren) Spangler. Herb was the beloved husband of 33 years to Kathy (nee Caldwell) Spangler; loving father of Holly, Casey, and Madison "Maddie" Spangler; brother of Ronald (Jeanette) Spangler, Linda Spangler, Barbara Mathews and the late Gale Cagg; son-in-law to Doris and the late Lloyd Caldwell; brother-in law to Butch (Diann) Caldwell, Donna (Mark) Bergen, Brenda (Dennis) Morris and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 4-7pm and Thursday January 5, 2017 from 1-2 PM at the Martinsville Church of Christ, 28 Main St, Martinsville, OH 45146. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 5, 2017 also at the Church. Interment will take place at Martinsville IOOF Cemetery where military honors will be held.
