Obituary

Helen Lewis (Bailey), 87, formerly of Richmond, died Nov.11 in Montgomery, Ohio. She was born Dec. 13, 1919, to Martina and Leonard Bailey in Washington, IA. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Clyde Lewis; three sons, Dave (and Janie) Baur of Spring, Texas; Gerad (and Helen) Baur of Cincinnati; and Dan of Audubon, N.J.; two daughters, Julie (and Jim) Walker of Galveston, Texas; and Betty Rogers (and John Neumann) of Euclid, Ohio; sister Mary Panther of Davenport, IA; brother Joe (and Mary) Bailey of Davenport, IA; son-in-law Don (and Debbie) of Somerset, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and husbands Bernard "Bud" Baur, Dr. James Gladden, and Dave Watters. Services will be Thursday, Nov 15, at 10am in the chapel at Twin Lakes at Montgomery, Montgomery, Ohio. Visitation is 9a.m. to 10a.m. Friends are invited to join the family for lunch following the service. Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Lexington will be at 2:30p.m. Family request that memorial contributions in memory of Helen be directed to: Congregation of the Humility of Mary 820 West Central Park Ave. Davenport, IA 52804-1900 or Hospice of Cincinnati 4310 Cooper Rd.
