Helen Janet (nee Patrick) Davidson of Cincinnati, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2022, at the age of 92. Born on February 19, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Troy Davidson. Loving mother of Joyce Davidson, Cheryl (Charles) Broyles, Dennis (Glenda) Davidson, Janet Davidson, Kathy (Fred) Hartmann, Lisa (Steve) Magas and Bekah (Paul) Williams-Ellis. Caring grandmother of Chrissy (Bobby) Sparks, Benjamin (Jamie) Slusher, Carrie Broyles, Candis (Shane) Little, Nikea (Joe) Dills, Samantha (Jordan) Duncan, Bianca Prather-Jones, Adrienne Fucito, Keena Miller, Lauren Chaney, Andrea (Kyle) Egbert, William (Teresa) Johns, Erica (Ben) Combs, Daniel (Hannah) Magas, Aaron Williams, Brandon Williams and the late Chanta Woodworth and Andrew Magas. Proud great-grandmother of 28 and great-great-grandmother of 4. Dear sister of David (Gay) Patrick and the late Joyce Patrick and Glenna Shearon. Cherished daughter of the late Ray and Gertrude (nee Rice) Patrick. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Helen was a pastor's wife for 34 years. She was the pianist, organist, musical director and taught Sunday School for the church. She was a plant manager at the Disabled American Veterans for 25 years. She attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She taught Diet Workshop for many years and had the largest class in Cincinnati. Although busy with family, church, music training, and working a full-time job, on weekends she would visit nursing homes to sing and uplift the residents with positive words and scriptures. She worked tirelessly for so many, but always had time for her family. Helen was a prayer warrior for anyone in need. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Wednesday, August 17, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, OH 45122, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Wednesday.
