Hazel Mae (nee Mozena) Blankenship of Fayetteville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2024, at the age of 88. Hazel was born on April 1, 1936, in Cincinnati, OH to Raymond and Hilda Mozena.

She is survived by four sons, Mark Edward (Mary) Blankenship, Kenneth Lee (Cathy) Blankenship, Dennis Ray (Shelly) Blankenship and Patrick Wayne (Kristy) Blankenship; two daughters, Anita Louise (Steve) Freeland and Julie Ann (Keith Reid) Hornsby-Jones; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray (Carol) Mozena and Robert Mozena; sister, Erma Beck; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Emmett Blankenship; parents, Raymond Lester and Hilda (nee Bachmann) Mozena; grandson, Joshua Lee Blankenship; and sister, Delores Waits.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Friday, July 26 at Evendale First Church of God, 3853 Glendale Milford Rd., Evendale, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Friday. Pastor Gary Brown officiating.

Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Glendale, OH.
