Harry
Lofland
September 22, 1947 – March 23, 2026
With deep love and gratitude, we remember Harry Lofland, Jr. of Loveland.
A devoted father, grandfather, and friend to all of the Loveland community, we remember a man retired after 28 dedicated years of service to the Loveland police department, whose presence shed light and joy to the lives of all who knew him. Social by nature, he never met a stranger. Conversations with Harry came naturally, often filled with wholesome stories, laughter, and genuine care for others.
His love for family and friends was constant. He showed up with unwavering care, and his pride in doing so was evident in everything he did. Harry found passion in helping those around him, always thanking us for allowing him to help.
His legacy is strong and far-reaching. He reminded us all the importance of compassion, uplifting one another, and living with an open heart for all. The joy he spread lives long after him, reminding us all to be kind, and live with love and gratitude for another beautiful day, knowing that life is good.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara Lofland. Loving father of Scott (Aimee) Lofland, Aaron (Vicki) Lofland, Ruthie (Jeff) Smith, the late Jamie (Carla) Clevenger, the late Bev (Brian - living) Bowers, and the late Harry "Turk" Lofland, III. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Taryn, Melissa, Amanda, Christopher, Aaron, Kala, Chad, Stephanie, Sommer, Tristen, Cadence, Dylan, and Cameron. Proud great grandfather of several great grandchildren. Dear brother of Carol Tumbleson, Heather Lofland, Holly Lofland, the late Elaine Weber, and the late Katherine Hebel. Passed away March 23, 2026 at the age of 78.
