Harold Glenn Yates of Mt. Carmel, OH. Born on April 8, 1928 in Bark Camp, KY. Went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2020, age 92. Beloved husband of Ruby Pearl (nee Roaden) Yates. Loving father of Elizabeth (Mark) Johnson, Glenna (Bob) Uecker, Garry (Christine) Yates and Mark Yates. Proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry LeRoy and Cleo (nee Susong) Yates, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Harold was a staff sergeant in the US Army 17th Field Artillery battalion Korean Conflict. He worked for Cincinnati Chemical/Maumee Chemical/Sherwin Williams/PMC Chemical as they changed hands for a total of 44 years heading their Saccharine division. Friends will be received on Monday, December 21 from 11 AM - 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment with military honors, Graceland Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Honor Flight Tri-State, 8627 Calumet Way, Cincinnati, OH 45249. Bro. Roger Grammer and Bro.
