Harold Delfus Sturgill of Goshen, OH, passed in the arms of his son, Jeff Sturgill, on April 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Harold was born in Tinsley, KY, on December 14, 1938, to William and Margie Sturgill.

Harold is the beloved husband of 67 years to late Irene F. Sturgill, loving father of Harold (Zoe) Sturgill of Pleasant Plain, OH., Sandra (Paul) Goldick of Goshen, OH., and Jeff (Sandy) Sturgill of Goshen, OH., caring Papa of Brandon (Traci) Sturgill, Timmy Plavsic, Chris Sturgill, Tiffany (Kyle) McCracken and the late Julie Sturgill and Joshua Plavsic, proud great-Papa of Maddie Sturgill, Rylee Spears, Brentley Sturgill, Eric Eifert, Gracie Plavsic, Leilah Sturgill, Isabella Sturgill, Kiarra McCracken, Killian McCracken and the late Gavin Sturgill, dear brother of the Faye Wilson and late Lena Chambers, Buck Sturgill, Junior Sturgill, Jack Sturgill, Tom Sturgill, Ray Sturgill, and Wanda Collect, cherished Son of the late William and Margie (nee Laws) Sturgill. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Thursday, April 24 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Thursday. Pastor Todd Kritzwiser officiating.
