Harold (Penguin) Wayne Leasher was born January 25, 1947, to the Donald (Bill) Leasher and the late Clair (Miller) Brown and passed away on January 12, 2022.
He was an avid Ohio State fan, loved playing, and coaching softball, and loved hunting. He also loved being outside doing work in the yard and being around family. He was a fire fighter for Midland Fire Department for many years. During that time, he served as Assistant Chief.
He is survived by his wife Sharon (Miller) Leasher whom he married on March 4, 1966; children Jeffery (Jodi) Leasher and Sondra Leasher; grandchildren Patrick Fitzgerald II, Allisun Leasher, Bryan Davis, and Autumn Leasher; great-grandchildren, Gavin Carr, Gaige Carr, Joshlynn Knisley-Davis, Cohen Davis, and Brantley Davis; brother Donald (Lania) Leasher; sister, Dianna Leasher-Brown; numerous friends and relatives.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son Mark Leasher; brothers, Terry Leasher and Richard Leasher; sister, Deloris Howland; great-granddaughter, Adalyn Davis.
Friends will be received 6-8pm on January 17, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on January 18, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer-Blanchester.
Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery.
