Harold M. Hunt of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 88. Born on February 12, 1934, in Blanchester, Ohio, son of Charles O. "Bunny" and Mary Helen (nee Jones) Hunt. Harold and Wanda married on July 7, 1959, and just celebrated 63 years together. He was active in the Blanchester Masonic Lodge, as well as the Eastern Star during the 1960's. Harold was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Blanchester but attended the Cuba Friends Church in most recent years. He enjoyed being a member of the Blanchester community and was named citizen of the year. Harold retired from the United States Postal Service. He was an avid reader, specifically the news as he liked to keep up on current events of the surrounding cities. Along with his wife, Wanda Hunt, Harold is survived by his brothers, James R. (Mary Lou) Hunt, WM Edward (Barbara) Hunt, and Charles David Hunt whom Harold and Wanda raised from a young age. A brother-in-law, Bill Pierson. Harold was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester, where friends will be received from 12pm until the time of service. Interment will take place at Blanchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Cuba Friends Church, 5801 Cuba Rd, Wilmington, OH 45177.
