H. Daniel Dickerscheid of Maineville, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, died February 24, 2020, at the age of 61. He was the beloved son of Harold and the late Jean Dickerscheid, of Dublin, and the beloved father of Daniel Dickerscheid, of Cincinnati, and Andrea Dickerscheid and her partner Miranda Mingis, of Maineville. Dan was a retired phlebotomist, a former member of the Ohio and Arizona National Guards, and a graduate of Whetstone High School and Urbana University. He was a World War II enthusiast who enjoyed building military models, listening to music, watching documentaries and movies, traveling the world, and sharing corny jokes with anyone who would listen. In addition to his father and children, Dan is survived by his sisters, Annette (Roger) Searfoss, of Hilliard, and Pamela Dickerscheid, of Charleston, W.Va., and his nephew, Trent Searfoss, of Ithaca, N.Y. A private service is being planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dan's memory to the American Red Cross.
