Guy Roger "Pete" Manifold passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 79 after a heart-breaking battle with dementia. He was born July 27, 1941 in Hagerstown, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Nancy (nee Barlow) Manifold. Guy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (nee Arnold) Manifold; his children Lori (nee Manifold) Wilson, and Mark (Kim) Manifold; and his grandson, T. J. Manifold. He is preceded in death by his sister, Gail Jean (nee Manifold) Bowman. He grew up on his family farm and was a long-standing member of FFA. He graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1959 where he played football, and as a senior, played on the Sectional Champs winning team. He spent one year at the University of Louisville before joining the Air Force. Upon completing his four year tour of duty, he moved his young family to Cincinnati to work for the Cincinnati Milling Machine Company. He continued to work in the machine tool trade until his retirement. His family is grateful his struggle with dementia is over. There is no memorial service planned at this time.
