Gregory Michael Black, 64, of Morrow, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2025.

Born July 27, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of James Black and Nancy Drinnen. Gregory worked at Metalex as a welding supervisor for 40 years. He took great pride in all his hard work and ability to provide a beautiful life for his family. Greg was always learning about cars and his other interests either through reading or listening to podcasts. He was known for his sense of humor and never without a joke. His family and friends will smile and laugh forever in his memory. He will be greatly missed.

Gregory was the beloved husband of 45 years to Karen Black; loving father of Angela (Erik) Wurtenberger and Kristina Black; proud papaw of Dominick Jones, Sebastian Black, Abigail Burnett, and Olivia Munn; dear brother of Julie (Mike) Armstrong.

Along with his father, Gregory was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Black.

The funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Edwardsville Cemetery.
