Grace Elizabeth Dininger Nichols was born September 27, 1913 in Lynchburg, Ohio. She passed away on Saturday,May 29, 2010. Her residence was at Cape May Retirement Village, Wilmington, Ohio. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Jane Karen and Husband Walter N. Nichols. She is survived by a son Walter. N. Nichols Jr. who resides with his wife Karren in Southlake, Texas. Her love of music and sharing it with others and the devotion to her husband were constant wonderful threads throughout her life. Grace married Walter on April 10, 1937 and celebrated 70 years of marriage together in 2007. She attended Little Ford Business College in Cincinnati in 1932 for one year. Her music activites were many: At 13 began playing piano for Silent movies in Lynchburg, Ohio theatre; Taught many students piano in her home for 30 years; Music accompanist for Vacation Bible School for 40 years; Organist for many years at Hanna Funeral Grace was involved in many church activities: Lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lynchburg, Ohio where she was Organist from 1925 till 1937; Member United Methodist Church, Westboro, Ohio where she provided Organ and Piano music for over 65 Club/Community Affiliations: Snow Hill Country Club; Life time member Eastern Star; Wilmington College Women's Club, Past President; Rebecah Lodge, Past Noble Grand; Amicitia Club, Blanchester, Ohio; Red Hat Society.
