Gordon Gale Larkin was born October 16, 1934 to Charles Brandon Larkin and Marie (nee Pyles) Smith and passed away April 9, 2018 at the age of 83.
Gordon worked and was owner of Nancy's Music Store. He enjoyed panning for Gold, playing music, metal detecting, old cars and restoring his 1929 Model A. Gordon was a member of the Archaeological Society. He was also a member of the National Guard.
He was on the Midwestern Hay Ride TV Show, in 1962, where he played in the band.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Gale (Dave) Smith; grandchildren, Jason Creager, Justin Creager, Anthony Smith and Glenda Smith; great grandchildren, Braylee Stanforth, Landen Creager, Emma Creager, Lydia Smith, Liam Smith, Chloe Soloman and Zachariah Solomon; a brother Jack Larkin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (nee Riley) Larkin; a brother, Sarg Willis and a sister Lula Mae Stein.
Friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Thursday April 12, 2018 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
