Glenn Dale Gooch, age 88, of Cold Spring, KY passed away June 3, 2013 at Rosedale Green Nursing Home. Beloved husband for nearly 63 years to Freda (nee McCall) Gooch. Loving father of Mark (Shirl) Gooch, Marvalyn (Dan) Zix, Lori (John) Russell. Devoted brother of Bernice Fisher, Reba Abbott, C.J. Gooch, Jim Gooch, Bill Gooch, and the late Bernard Gooch and Eunice Brewer. He was the proud grandfather and great-grandfather of fourteen. Glenn proudly served our country during WWII in the US Army, and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained on D-Day at Omaha Beach during the invasion of Normandy, France. Visitation will be held on Friday June 7, 2013 at 12PM with funeral services following at 1PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 State Route 28 Goshen, Ohio 45122.
