Gladys M. Melvin of Blanchester passed on May 22, 2025, at the age of 99. Gladys was born in Preble County, OH, on May 16, 1926, to Ohmer Lynn and Ethel Mary (nee Myers) Bowser.

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Sue (Jerry) Miller and Judy Melvin; grandchildren, Brooks (Jen) Miller and Nathan (Emily) Miller; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Miller, Madeline Miller, Reese Miller, Parker Miller, and Landon Miller.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Melvin, and her parents, Ohmer and Ethel Bowser.

Gladys was a member of the Blanchester Senior Citizens, Clinton County Homemakers and Nursing Home Guild, and Second Creek United Methodist Church.

Memorial donations can be made in memory of Gladys Melvin to the Blanchester Senior Citizens, 707 North Broadway, Blanchester, OH 45107.

Friends will be received from10-11am on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home in Blanchester, 120 West Main St., where a funeral service will be held at 11am.

Interment will be at the Springfield Friends Cemetery in Wilmington, OH.
