Gladys Hughes of Loveland passed away on May 11, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Richard Hughes. Loving mother of Elaine (Bill) Weyand. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Ashley (TJ) Jones. Survived by her sister Charlene (Fred) Vonderschmidt. Preceded in death by her parents Robert Harrison and Minnie (nee Simpson) Whitaker, and four siblings; Faye (Thomas) Hunsche, Violet (Raymond) Bundy, Claude (Mary) Whitaker, and Leroy (Violet) Whitaker. Gladys was an avid shopper, a restaurant enthusiast, and loved spending time with her family. Private burial for immediate family at Oak Hill Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Gladys' life at 11AM, Friday, May 19th at the Loveland United Methodist Church followed by a luncheon.
