Gladys (nee Creech) Epperhart of Goshen, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2022, at the age of 83. Gladys was born on March 13, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH to the late parents, Samuel L. Creech and the late Lorcie Marie (nee West) Creech of Kentucky.

Gladys graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in social work. She loved working with children.

She is the beloved wife of the late Ronald Barton and the late Henry Epperhart.

Gladys had six children: Kirt Barton, Gina Barton, Kim (Jay Gates) Barton, Jackie Castaneda and the late Tony Barton and Kenny Barton. Mother-in-law of Holly Barton.

She is the caring grandmother of Chris Wantuck, Sara (Jason) McQueary, Breonda (Joe Gaccione) Grubs, Allison (Josh) Allen, Justin Wilson and Caroline Cahal.

Gladys is the proud great-grandmother of Hayden, Juliana, Colton, Amara, Skylar, Jayson and Braydin.

She is the dear sister of Jackie (Wanda) Creech, Eugene (Nancy) Creech and the late Billy Creech, Louie (Barb) Creech and Larry (Parthenal) Creech. Sister-in-law of Phyllis Creech.

Gladys is the devoted aunt of Larry Creech, Terry Creech, Mike Creech, Kelly Lambert, Paul (Rhonda) Creech, Chris Creech, Sissy (Albert) Frommel, Robin Owens, Angela (Bob) Holden Cowans and the late Timothy Creech.

Dearest family and friends of Ruben Demarest, Stephanie Jackson, Morgan Davis, Camden, Liam, King, Kehlani, Bob Cahal, Sharon Brewer, Terry Osborne and Quinton and family.

Friends will be received from 6 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, October 27 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be at 11 AM on Friday, October 28. Pastor Phil Hopper officiating.
