Gilbert "Gil" Howard Preston of Williamsburg, OH., passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 74. Gil was born on August 2, 1950, in Cincinnati, OH to Delmar and Leona Preston.

Gil graduated from Withrow High School and went on to own his construction business, Preston Construction, for over 30 years alongside his two sons.

Gil is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sandra Kay (nee Lyons) Preston; two sons, John (Holly) Preston and Jason (Michelle) Preston; two daughters, Crystal Preston and Carrie Carrier; eleven grandchildren, Zachary (Shaina) Preston, Del Preston, Nick Preston, Jason (Mickinzi) Preston Jr., Jake (Bailey) Preston, Brandon Minnie, Ryan Preston, Brooke Warneford, Raegan Warneford, Justine Carrier and Jaiden Carrier; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Shaw, Geneva Lynn Vinciguerra and the late Barb Preston; three brothers, William Preston and the late Delmar Preston Jr. and John Preston; parents, the late Delmar Eugene and Leona (nee Souder) Preston. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 8 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1123 St. Rt. 28, Milford. A fellowship at Day Heights Fireman's Memorial Hall, 1313 St. Rt. 131, Milford immediately following.
